LOOKING AFTER YOUR
Now that you own this beautiful leather bag it’s really important that you look after it so that it will last and last and stay looking the way it should.
This is a soft and supple leather so over time slight stretching around the armhole when the leather is under pressure is natural. To maintain the structure of the bag, I recommend lying it flat or resting it on a flat surface when not in use.
If the leather gets wet, remove any moisture with a soft cloth and allow it to dry naturally. To clean the leather wipe it with a damp cloth being careful not to use too much water. Every 3 months buffing with some leather cream will rejuvenate the leather and help to maintain the soft structure of the grain, it will also prevent staining and protect it from moisture. I recommend doing a small spot test first on the inside of the bag to ensure that you’re happy with the results you get from the product you’re using.
If you’re not going to use the bag for a while, buff it with some leather cream, fold out the internal pockets, fill with something soft like tissue paper and store it flat in the dust bag provided. Make sure it’s stored away from heat and sunlight.
